The Kjerag plateau is located on the southern side of Lysefjord in Rogaland and is a well-known regional tourist destination. It is a popular exit point for base jumpers. The Kjerag Boulder. On the western side of the plateau, a 5m³ boulder is wedged in a crevice 1000 metres above Lysefjord. The path to Kjerag starts at Øygardstølen - a restaurant located 640 metres above Lysebotn. The walk in undulating terrain normally takes two hours (one-way) at normal walking pace. |
